Cloudflare is a global edge network present in more than 330 cities worldwide. Your website doesn't load from one distant server — it loads from the point closest to each visitor, so it opens in milliseconds, anywhere in Slovenia and the world.
The same network includes DDoS attack protection, a free SSL certificate, and automatic caching. We use that network as your site's entire infrastructure:
- Cloudflare Pages — hosting for the static website (HTML, CSS, images). Free.
- Cloudflare Workers — code at the network edge for dynamic features: contact forms, back office, APIs.
- R2 — file and image storage with no egress (data-transfer-out) fees.
- D1 — a SQL database for news, projects, and the gallery.
